A Shot of Life

Another little playdate – party!  Lot’s of kids this time..and I’m pretty sure the boys FAR out numbered the girls!  The kids really seem to enjoy these gatherings…here is a little taste of what it’s really like!

(you can thank me later for not having sound with this picture, there was lot’s of LOUD yelling, laughter, crying & music making going on-all at the SAME time!!)

I was trying to get a good angle on this VERY pregnant cat…(my new lens-which should be arriving shortly-would have come in handy for this exact situation)…anyway, the cat was not co-operative…so here is a picture of her big belly…

Eric was using this giraffe to “kiss” Ethan…next thing I know Alissa’s over there doing the exact same thing!  Ethan’s loving all the attention!  It was too funny…

Speaking of monkeys…This is Ethan’s 1 Year portrait!  This session was so fun! I did it back in January but was asked not to share this picture until the custom made monkey invitations were mailed out.

Homemade Salsa!

My sister and I get together every now and again to make this recipe!  It’s so yummy (I’m sure Tostitos will be contacting us soon!)  There is a decent amount of chopping required and it takes a LONG time to “boil down” but it’s well worth all the effort (if you don’t burn it!).

Salsa:

8 cups peeled/chopped tomatoes
1 cup chili peppers
3/4 cup red peppers
3 cups chopped onions
1 cup vinegar
3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Boil approx 2 hrs or until desired consistency.  Then preserve in jars.

Eric loves this game…

When clients love their session enough to hang LARGE prints on the walls of their homes I am delighted!

This is a 20X30″ canvas.  It is so beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes.

The absolute BEST part of a canvas (and this is where NO other picture can compare) is the gallery wrap (the picture wraps around each side).  When you hang this piece of art on the walls of your home it brings life into the room.

Today we had the help of Keith, from Keith’s Home Improvments (519-877-0306).  He worked on building the new closet (that was designed by Cozy Hill Decorating-Christine Janssens 519-269-3305)  We  are so thrilled by with this new storage space.

Currently we have 2 entry ways with out any space to hang jackets or place shoes.  It’s a disaster waiting to happen.  (little shoe marks across the flooring, coats laying on chairs-I’m sure all mom’s understand this problem!)

Problem solved!

We signed the Kitchen this week, and we’re getting close to ordering the flooring.  After some wall repairs-painting is our next major step!  Can’t wait to see how this all comes together!
