Everytime we turn our backs, Jeremy’s on top of something…tables, chairs, the toy shelves, Erics dresser…and he’s so proud of himself!

I don’t know if other parents said this, but when we had a pout on at home, and we (I) would cry (which, I will add, did NOT happen often), my parents would say:  “look out a bird is going to poop on that lip” I could have said this to Eric a million times today…

Poor guy, with a bit of a cold & a brother who can’t resist teasing him it was a tough day!  His eye is healing quite nicely but it just added to the ‘rough’ look….

Happy Birthday Noah!

A small birthday party playdate for Noah’s 3rd birthday today.  Much needed for the mom’s and kids alike!  Great party…

renovating, redecorating, remodeling…YIKES…

We are planning a MAJOR spring renovation here.  The choices are endless.  Saturday my parents were kind enough to babysit so that Kevin and I could go out and find answers, choices and prices!  I think it left me more confused!  We found the tile we (I) want and the cabinet colour & style we (I) want…but now to get paint colours and laminate to co-ordinate with it all!

I actually really enjoy choosing everything, but with such a big job it is nice to have some reassurance.

Today’s recipe is:

Mom’s salad dressing…I recommend a full salad when using this “house” type dressing.  It is really yummy with eggs, feta cheese, bacon & croutons added to the salad.  Then again, maybe I just took something healthy and made it terribly fattening!  Oh well, at least you’re eating your veggies!

1/2 tsp salt

2 tbsp’s red or white vinegar

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 tsp dijon mustard

2/3 cup oil

wisk together and serve over the salad!

ONE MONTH DONE!  Who can believe that it is Feb 1st already!  Time is flying by.  I am still enjoying the work on my blog!  I hope you are enjoying reading and browsing it!

Today I had the chance to photo my sister! (you might remember her from 21/365)  We went out for a while (quietly, just the two of us) and just had some fun!  Here is a picture of us together!  I had to set up the tripod (across the street) & use the remote timer, but it was worth the effort!
