just an everyday shot around the house…

The wheels of this truck (and several others) come off and on VERY often!

It’s Monday…but I’m with out a ‘suitable’ kitchen for inspiration!  Plus, I had a super fun session tonight!

I met up with the “H” family today!  Let’s just say I have a tonne of editing to do, the kids were wonderful, the weather and lighting were delightful!!  Thanks for allowing me to work with your family!

As I stated tonight, there may be a short delay on opening the private gallery due to the fact that I’m heading home for a couple days.

I love love love tulips!  These pink beauties are almost in bloom-just can’t wait!!

Eric always has a bath in here after chores, it won’t last too much longer!

Just like the mechanic driving around in an old vehicle or the plumber with leaking pipes; I finally got around to some ‘portraits’ of my own kids!  It’s a bit tricky to get them to do what I want & be ready behind the camera…so I enlisted some help!

Mom quickly figured out it itsn’t as easy as it looks!  LOL…after a morning session and alot of bribery this is the best I’ve got!

Eric has become very good in front of the camera…so much so, he wants to choose his expression…today he wanted a sad picture…

Reno’s in the kitchen are in full swing.  The new flooring is laid (thanks to my wonderful husband and brother in law), new cupboards are set for a Thrusday & Friday installation.

We moved from my in laws farm to my parents home for a couple days; it was certainly ‘interesting’!  A HUGE thank you to both of them for just allowing us to move in! (We will probably be back next week for a couple days!)

Ah, my job is so simple when someone actually smiles on cue!  Jamie mentioned that he NEVER smiles for pictures…I took that on as quite the challenge…I caught a few nice smiles from this stylin’ guy!

Eric has VERY sensative skin…I’m not sure what these are from…but it’s itchy and ugly…poor guy…this is day 2!  Any ideas?  Please share…

I’m keeping a watchful eye.  It reminds me of when his thumb had an infection (aug 2007).  This was so gross…I can remember the day he woke up with this, like it was yesterday.

A great recipe for entertaining…easy make ahead and barbeque!  These chicken strips paired with any type of salad are an instant hit!

Barbeque Chicken Strips Marinade

3 cloves garlic

2 tbsp soya sauce

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 tsp hot sauce (optional)

1 tbsp red wine vinegar

1/4 cup olive oil

salt & pepper

4 or 5 chicken breasts cut into strips

Simply mix together all the listed ingredients.  Marniate for 30mins-several hours.  Barbeque & serve!
