Jer got this stuck on his foot while playing in his room today.  He was walking around like it was totally normal to have it attached to his leg!  I thought it was pretty funny…until Eric tried to take it off and took Jer down…boys (eyeroll)

JJ is always pulling faces…he has concerned, silly, frustrated, upset, happy, VERY happy down pat!  He can change in a matter of seconds…these pictures were taken with in 2 minutes of eachother…he is SUPER silly..which is very interesting!

We have been asked by several people how the reno’s are going…when we will be done and so on.  Here is an update!

-Living & Dining room are done..except the trim (which we are hoping my dad will paint for us!)

-The kitchen has the cement board on the floor (screwed down with 17lbs of screws…ask the ‘crew’ it was ALOT!)…Tiles to be installed next weekend.

-This weekend we need to PAINT this entire area…ALOT of painting…anyone want a couple of kids so we can actually accomplish something???

-The new cupboards should be in near the end of the month.  We had the old ones sold to someone on Kijiji but they lost there job and backed out…

-The hallway needs some work, but we aren’t even thinking about that at this time

-DRAPERY…my least fav…something needs to be done for all the windows…

*my purse is hanging on a handle-there isn’t another place for it…all the closets are empty & most of the stuff is in Eric’s room! (on the floor)

Easter Bunnies!!!

Eric and I had sooo much fun making these for his ‘cousins’…it’s SO simple & it’s becoming quite an addiction for me!

All I did was purchase a chocolate mold & white & brown chocolate wafers at the Bulk Barn.

Then I melted small portions of the chocolate.  Using food colouring I altered the colours of the white chocolate.  Then I filled the mold, starting with the colours I wanted to appear first.  For example the eyes and nose, bow tie and so on.  Then I melted the brown chocolate to fill the mold.  From there it’s as simple as tapping the mold to remove air pockets, place in the fridge until hard & wrap with plastic wrap!

But we’re not going to talk  about the snow that’s forecasted for the rest of the week…

The last bit of jam in the jar is tough to get out, right???

NOPE…

If you butter your toast, cut it into squares, stick it onto the end of a fork you can easily clean out the last little bit of jam!

Ok, so I’m wondering if anyone else does this? I know Kev’s dad does, but I’ve never EVER seen anyone else do it!??

I know my jam is good, but is it THIS good?!

The kids had a blast!  We went bowling for the ‘farm Grandpa’s’ Birthday!  I was surprised at how quickly Jeremy caught on!  I can’t wait to edit more from this set!

It was so nice to spend some time with Allison & Owen!  Loved seeing you guys!

I combed Eric’s hair this morning but he said that it didn’t look good enough for Sarah!  So off to the bathroom to brush it again, then to the bedroom to check it out…he’s so handsome!
