I had the pleasure of taking care of baby “J” for the day!

I was pushing him in the swing out back…next thing I know he’s asleep!  Just watching the other kids must have tuckered him right out!

Baking with company is always fun!  It’s really great for the kids and a nice way to fill a bit of extra time…

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

1 3/4 cup all purpose flour

3 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt

Mix together in a large bowl.

In a seperate bowl mix together:

2 eggs

1/4 cup oil

1/4 cup milk

1 cup banana

Beat together; then add to dry mixture.

Quickly stir together, do not over mix, it will be  a bit lumpy.

Bake for about 12-14 mins on 350.  Also delish made into mini muffins (great for packing in lunches or for picnics!)

Good Morning Kids!

Gearing up for another fun filled day, hanging with our cousins (eating Cheezies before breakfast)…Off to the Children’s Museum.  It was perfect weather for it, cool & a bit of rain…nice day for some indoor activities!

We had a riot!  East Park was a great adventure for all the kids!  Water slides, splash pad, rock climbing, bumper cars, indoor play center and batting cages!  Thanks for spoiling us Mom!  The Lightning McQueen oil container was just over the top!

These ol’ tractors have ALOT of miles on them!

Strawberry season is the best!  Yummy yummy strawberries…my favorite is my mother in laws strawberry cheese cake!!!

Tomorrows job is strawberry jam…
