My Brother in law ‘ran’ with the Olympic torch, downtown Hamilton for 300m.  In my opinion they couldn’t have asked for someone better to represent Canada.

Although he was criticized for being a bit too slow during the ‘run’ , he has recently took some time off work to visit several schools to share his experience.  He let the children hold and admire the torch, drill him with questions, and have photo op’s with the kids!

Sorry we missed the ‘big day’!  Here are a couple pictures to remember this special event!

When ‘Mom’ messaged me about this session I knew it was going to be fun!

Twin 3 year olds!!!

We met up in a local small town at a couple different locations.  The session started in the clients home, which had an awesome backdrop at the landing of the stairs.  From there we headed outside, unfortunately, the cold wind moved us away from the waterfall (which I’d love to go back to if anyone is interested in some pictures with a gorgeous backdrop!!)  Lastly, we did some more ‘urban’ shots in front of some old buildings with great brick and large steps!

It was great working with the twins…they were so cooperative and sweet!  Love all the expressions in their pictures!  Your gallery will be ready for viewing shortly!

It is so exciting to meet new clients!

We planned an in home maternity session.  It’s always so wonderful when the pictures are taken in a place that has a lot of meaning to my clients.  I had a great time working with all three of you!  And I can’t wait to meet your newest addition!!

I have been asked to photograph some upcoming events at John Knox Christian School!  This is very exciting, and I think it will be a very fun way for me to share my talents with the community!  Next week we have a 50th Anniversary Assembly!  I will have to check out the ‘permissions’ on sharing pictures, so I am not sure at this point how many will be shared  on my blog!  I am excited to be out and about capturing ‘A Shot Of Life’ around JKCS!

For any session held before March…I am willing to waive the $75 session fee!!!

Happy Valentines!!!

Pardon the poor quality pictures this week.  These are just snaps!  I really truly can’t wait to get that camera in my hands again and work with it!  But for now this will have to do!

Here is one of my favorite parts of living out here:

Sunset viewing in my living room! (the sunrise is blocked by the new coverall…I think Kev should relocate it!)

Our NEW washer and dryer (thank you buyers for wanting ours!!)  I love these!!!  I also love having the laundry on the main floor!  I *hope* to stay on top of the dirty clothes now!!!

I wish I had grabbed a few more snaps throughout the week.  So many people helped us and we are VERY grateful.  I found the range of help so interesting, making meals, moving boxes, babysitting, hanging shelves & light fixtures, hooking up the internet, cleaning, painting….it was so wonderful!!!

And the boys come home!!!  They had a wonderful time with Grandpa and Grandma!!!

And they went to bed in there new tents!!   Several toys in there toy room (including these tents and sleeping bags) are gifts from Christmas that we didn’t allow them to open until we moved so they were quite excited when they came home!!
