Off to a good start this week!  A picture of the recipe and it’s on monday!!

You should expect some turbulance over the next couple weeks!  We’re going to start ripping the old floor out and doing the new floor heat & tiles!  I figure this will be the toughest month of the reno’s…we’ll be having the stock of freezer & quick meals I have in the freezer and some take out…

These are delicious squares…I find the timing a bit ‘tough’ not sure why…I usually undercook (cause I want to eat one soo badly I can’t wait) or overcook (usually this happens after I undercook so I want to MAKE SURE they are ready!)  I have also dropped one that was steaming HOT on my foot and had a blistering burn (but that was due to a clumsy 8month pregnant belly)…

Anyway, on to the recipe & picture!

Meringue Chocolate Chip Squares:

1 cup margerine

3 egg yolks (reserve whites)

1/2 cup white sugar

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1-2 tbsp water

2 cups flour

1/2 cup brown sugar

mix well and form into a 9×13 cookie sheet

sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips

beat egg whites until stiff; add 1 cup brown sugar & mix; pour over choc chips

bake 20mins at 350F.
