It is my number one goal at Shot Of Life Photography to create a personal and unique photo session with each and every client.
Props & special locations assure that your photographs will be 100% unique.
Before each session we talk about what you, the client, would like. I want to know what images you would like captured, what ideas you have and I share some ideas I have as well.
That being said, kids are kids (and Dads are resistant) so I roll with the punches and keep on trying to capture everyone at their best!
My style is what I call the ‘posed’ candid. I do direct, shuffle and rearrange, all the while trying to capture natural smiles, sincere glances and meaningful mannerisms.
Rates:
I strive to keep all the portrait session very relaxed. When taking images of children this is a requirement. Take along a snack, cozy blanket or your child’s lovey. This will help to capture them at their best!
Mini Session Fee: $50 (plus tax)
This session is for a single child (over 1 year of age). The session is to be held at the location of your choice and can be set to a theme. It includes 30mins time and talent of the photographer, an ordering session and hosting of 10-15 images in a password protected gallery for 7 days.
Standard Session Fee: $100 (plus tax)
The session fee covers the time, talent, equipment and props of the photographer as well as a private online viewing gallery including 15-20 photographs ready for viewing after our follow up session. Each session can last between 1-3 hours.
Large Family Session Fee: $100+$25 per family. (plus tax)
Included is 1-2 hours of photography, 15-25 images hosted in a password protected gallery online for 7 days. Individual family pictures are permitted, as well as large family pictures and several different groupings. A follow up ordering session is encouraged. For each family please add $25, or each individual $15.

The follow up session/ordering session is to be booked for approx 7-10 days following our Photography Session. After the Follow Up appointment your password protected gallery will be hosted in a private gallery on my site for 7 days. All orders should take place during that time. If you need more time, a re-hosting charge will be applied.

Also available is a lamination spray that will protect the prints so there is no need for glass. This provides a nice matte finish to your print.

Each option comes with a full print release and can be printed at a printing company of your choice, in the quantity you choose.

You can decide which images make the cut and which do not. There is a variety of options for the cover. This is a great way to incorporate most of the images from your session into your living room (or suitcase)!

Storyboards can be purchased in an 11×14 or larger size. Please add $50 to the print price.
Custom Cards are also available.
These are a wonderful way to share a photo (or two) with groups of people. A great way to announce a birth, share a new address or send out a Christmas greeting. All cards are original so no one else will send out the same Christmas Card!
Printing options are endless with these! Postcard style, 5×7 photo paper or a gorgeous folding card! Custom envelopes are available for each!
