painting!

The kids LOVE it when I let them paint, but it doesnt’ happen very often…

Here’s why:

Many of us are anxiously awaiting the phone call (or Facebook message) that Jess has had her baby!

Our plan is to add one last picture to this set of a VERY squishy newborn!

I’m am so happy that we were able to capture 40 weeks!  I think this board looks AWESOME and it will be added to my collection of prints.

Thank YOU Jess for looking awesome AND coordinating a time to meet up with me every 4 weeks!  It was a bit of a commitment but SO VERY worthwhile!!!!

I loved everything about this session. The weather was PERFECT especially for December, The clothing choices were great, The location was more than ideal And the girls were up for anything! They wanted to surprise their Dad for Christmas! The idea of it all made me smile!

This is what we came up with. A black plaque mount with some AWESOME pictures inside.

The next set & possibly the last!

I’m loving how this project is coming together!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE working outside! But every now and again I have a craving for the indoors with some plain paper background!

My stand is small so that it is portable, I usually only use it for newborns…but it was a crummy day and I felt like taking pictures Jer in his new ‘oh so suiting’ sweater!

The kids damaged the paper while taking pictures so I ripped a huge section off and let them colour & draw!!

This special train passes by our house every year. It travels from Woodstock to London early evening…the last couple years the kids have seen it..but I have stayed in the warmth of the house to see it! This year I decided I wanted to take a couple pictures of it…I did some long exposures as it went past! Next year I will probably try panning…I wish it would go past about 4 times in one night so I could do all the photographing I’d like!! {good luck, eh?}

ANYWAY, it is a cute decorated train with Christmas lights and decorations. Santa is usually riding along in the back! And I’m pretty sure it makes several stops along the way for people to see it in slow motion!

I’ve photographed this little guy since he was a precious newborn!  Each fall his Mom and I head out (usually the same location) to captures split second memories of “J” growing up!

When I photograph clients over and over again, I often look back to see how much the children have grown, how the adults have changed and so on…but what really strikes me is how much my talents as a photographer have grown and changed too!

Enjoy your 2010 pictures “A”!  Your baby boy is growing up, and he’s a cute little guy now!   Enjoy these days!

After a reschedule due to rain, I was delighted to enjoy a gorgeous fall day going on a short hike with this family!
These walking paths were very nice!! And we even stopped for a little leaf ‘fight’!
{there is a great picture of dad taking revenge after this shot!} LOL

We also captured some more traditional family memories!!
These boys are just so handsome, and they were SUPER co-operative!!!

I’m just in love with all the fall colours on the ground and in their clothing! These rocks were in the perfect location too!!

Friday night of the Thanksgiving weekend I was able to sneak in a session with this adorable family!  It was nice to take advantage of the gorgeous fall weather for the evening!!
