three hundred and sixty five

With many mixed emotions I am DONE! A relief and a disappointment all at the same time. My blog encouraged me to pick up my camera each day, and despite missing 2 days I am quite proud that I completed this ‘resolution’!
You can continue to follow my blog as I will be posting ‘sneak peaks’ from sessions, some random shares for you to view as well as business updates. I still have a lot to say (believe it or not) so I’m confident I will find something to blog about!!!
What a year 2009 has been!! I started my photography business and had a great year. Meeting new clients was wonderful, rewarding and exciting! Word of Mouth has been going well as I do not do any ‘formal’ advertising! THANK YOU for the kind words you have shared with someone you know!!
I do have some goals for 2010 (‘oh TEN) and one of the BIG ones is to spend less time on my computer chair! Adding the farm to our family has provided me with several more ‘tasks’ around home so this ‘resolution’ is a requirement! Plus, my kids would enjoy seeing my face, instead of just the back of my hair!
My plan? Well, that’s the EXCITING part for you!! This year I will be selling digital images! WOW, that’s a big change for me, and although I am having a bit of trouble getting used to the idea I do believe it is the right thing to do! This is something that clients are asking for…so I am going to do it. Ordering, sorting and running around at the post office takes up a good deal of time so I figure this will fit right into my ‘less time on the computer’ resolution! With this change I am removing 4×6 and wallets from my price list.
These digital files are for 8×12′s and smaller. I plan to still sell 5×7′s and larger, so you have choices!! This is the FAVORITE part of my job…designing something for your home and seeing which images you love!! I still have my studio samples and products that I truly believe in and my clients have been VERY happy with. I will be designing cards and storyboards, the price is only increasing a little for the storyboards. The remaining prices on my list the same as 2009!
So, CHEERS to 2010~ I hope to see as many new faces as familiar ones through my camera lens!!

I’ve had alot of positive feedback about that (as expected)…we’ll see how it goes this year!
Glad you’ve enjoyed my blog! I’m enjoying the freedom, but I have to admit that I’m not picking up my camera nearly as much!
